RelicWise Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By downloading, accessing, or using RelicWise, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app or services.

2. The Service

RelicWise provides AI-assisted visual identification, organization, estimated value ranges, collection records, scan history, and optional expert review workflows for antiques, watches, jewelry, art, furniture, pottery, and other collectibles.

RelicWise results are generated from the photos and information you provide. Results may be incomplete, inaccurate, or affected by photo quality, lighting, item condition, missing views, market availability, or AI limitations.

3. Identification and Valuation Disclaimers

• RelicWise estimates are for personal reference and informational use only.
• RelicWise does not provide legal, tax, insurance, investment, authentication, appraisal, or professional valuation advice.
• Do not rely on RelicWise as the sole basis for buying, selling, insuring, lending against, donating, restoring, or legally classifying an item.
• You are responsible for verifying authenticity, ownership, provenance, condition, restrictions, export rules, and market value with qualified professionals when needed.
• Expert review features, when available, may improve review quality but still do not guarantee authenticity, value, sale price, legal status, or insurability.

4. Your Responsibilities

• You must have the rights and permissions needed to submit photos and item information to RelicWise.
• You may not submit illegal, infringing, harmful, private, or sensitive content unrelated to item identification.
• You may not misuse the service, bypass quotas, reverse engineer the app, interfere with infrastructure, or use RelicWise to violate law or the rights of others.
• You are responsible for keeping your device, Apple account, and app data secure.

5. User Content

You keep ownership of photos and item information you submit. You grant RelicWise a limited license to host, process, transmit, analyze, display, and use that content as needed to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the service, including by sending it to service providers for AI processing and operational support.

6. Subscriptions and Purchases

Paid subscriptions and in-app purchases are billed through the Apple App Store and managed through Apple and RevenueCat infrastructure. Pricing, billing period, renewal, cancellation, refunds, and free trial rules are shown at purchase and are governed by Apple App Store terms.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through your Apple account settings before renewal. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Refund requests are handled by Apple unless another process is required by law.

7. Intellectual Property

RelicWise, including its software, design, branding, workflows, text, generated interface, and service infrastructure, is owned by RelicWise or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you ownership of RelicWise intellectual property.

8. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, process, and share information. By using RelicWise, you also agree to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Availability and Changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of RelicWise at any time. We may update app features, provider integrations, quotas, pricing, or plans. We are not responsible for outages, delays, provider failures, data loss, or unavailable features, except where applicable law says otherwise.

10. No Warranties

RelicWise is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RelicWise and its service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost value, purchase or sale decisions, insurance decisions, tax treatment, legal classification, or reliance on any identification or estimate.

12. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless RelicWise from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your content, your misuse of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to RelicWise if you violate these Terms, create risk for the service or other users, or use the service unlawfully. You may stop using RelicWise at any time.

14. Disputes

Please contact aaronjasonall@gmail.com first so we can try to resolve any issue informally. These Terms do not limit any non-waivable consumer rights that apply where you live.
